Project Of The Year

The PFhoe Project Of The Year is an annual event which showcases and rewards talent in matchmoving with PFhoe.

We've made a number of improvements to the contest and now PFhoe.com members will be able to vote for their favourite video. The contest is open to PFhoe customers from around the world, all you need to do is upload your PFhoe project.

The Prize

The competition comprises of the following:

  • A license of The Pixel Farm’s industry leading matchmoving application PFMatchit*
  • A term's subscription to training at fxphd, including online vfx, production, post-production training.
  • A Pixel Farm 'MOO' T-Shirt.

*includes the first years software maintenance updates.

Competition opens for entry January 1st 0:00am GMT
Entry Deadline: November 30th 00:00am GMT
Public Voting Commences: December 1st 0:00am GMT
Public Voting Ends: December 21st 0:00am GMT
Winner Announced: December 22nd 9.00am GMT

Competition rules and terms

  1. This competition is open to any video created using PFhoe or PFHoe Pro
  2. The project must clearly exhibit matchmoving.
  3. PFHoe or PFHoe Pro must be the only match moving application used in the competition entry.
  4. By entering this competition you give permission for The Pixel Farm to feature your work on their website, and use for other PR activities.
  5. Please see the 'important dates' for the entry dates and deadlines.
  6. Winners will be chosen by public vote and the decision is final.
  7. In the event of a draw The Pixel Farm will have the casting vote.
  8. Winners will be announced on the PFhoe website.
  9. A notification e-mail will be sent to the winner after the winning announcement on the website
  10. The prize is intended for the winning entrant only and is not transferable.
  11. No alternative cash value will be provided.
  12. The PFMatchit license can be upgraded to another product unless permission given in writing by The Pixel Farm.
  13. A PFMAtchit Annual Maintenance Contract is provided for the first year of ownership only.
  14. PFMatchit technical user support is not included.
