[SOLVED]PFHoe 2.2 imported video not playing?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying out version 2.2 and I notice that after I import my video footage (following the wizard) and I move the time/playback slider back and forth, the image remains still, in the same frame, although during the import process it detected the proper duration of the clip.
This way the program can't solve the camera nor calculate the tracking.

Am I doing something wrong? It used to work fine in the previous 2.1 version.

I just read somewhere that PFhoe plays back only avis encoded with a certain codec (still don't know which though), so I decided to convert my video to a sequence of tgas instead and now it works fine.

There is nothing in PFhoe to limit it to a certain codec; AVI is just a container format with support for any number of codecs, and the code in PFhoe to read AVI's does not know anything about the codec, nor does it care; it simply requests a particular frame and the underlying AVI library returns the frame.

You may need to install a codec pack to support that particular AVI, and then PFhoe should work. What that codec pack is, or where that codec pack can be downloaded will depend on the codec itself.

Did you manage to get this working? We've not had this problem reported from other users. If its still a problem, can you upload the video so that we can test it?
