The PFHoe 2.1 upgrade is free. Just download the version you own and use your existing serial number.

Yes PFHoe 2.1 is supported in both Vista and OSX 10.5.

The evaluation versions of PFHoe and PFHoePro will work without a serial number but will not allow you to export your camera data. When you purchase the software you will be emailed a serial number and you can enter this into the evaluation software you downloaded.
